CIRCLE OF CONSENT 'Wheel of Consent'
BETTY MARTIN
The 'Circle of Consent', which Betty Martin has been working on and developing for many years, is an important study that helps us understand what kind of stance we take in our relationships and how the other person behaves.

Can we maintain the balance of giving and taking?
Are we pushing the other person's boundaries?
Are we able to maintain balance in our relationships with our family, children, partners, and in our business and personal friendships?
Every relationship is a transaction and carries within it an agreement.
We cannot take any action without the consent of the other person.
The key to consent is the other party's affirmation, that is, saying 'yes'.
According to the Circle of Consent, we stand as givers, takers, acceptors and allowers when necessary in relationships. Being able to stay balanced and without exceeding boundaries is the most important point for quality relationships.
We need to be honest with ourselves and understand our relationship with ourselves first.
It is a very effective awareness study in terms of experiencing and understanding all the features in the 'Circle of Consent' and seeing the shadows of each quadrant through different studies.
